Why HTS Soccer Training?
Technical & Physical training is vital for player development and overall success in youth soccer. However, the individual players needs are often overlooked within their own team training and club structures. Clubs and teams are constantly fighting for dominance which can lead teams to focus more on tactical approaches and in some cases winning over development!. Although many youth soccer clubs apply good technical training, its usually generic and a one size fits all approach, the head coach is also dealing with large rosters of 15-18 players at a time which is impossible to truly identify player imperfections and create a developmental plan to fix them appropriately, whether it be technical, physical or mental.
''Every pro golfer has a separate coach for drives, for approaches, for putting and in soccer we have one coach for 15-18 players- this is absurd!''
-Johan Cruyff
The modern soccer club provides between 250-300 hours of soccer per year, this is including both training and games. In reference to Malcolm Gladwell and the theory of 10,000 hours to master a skill, youth soccer players fall short of reaching enough hours of training to reach proficiency and ultimately the best chance of reaching goals.
There is undoubtedly a need for more focused training available to players outside of the club/team environment.
HTS soccer not only provides this opportunity but specifically works with individual players to supply detailed technical & physical training and development plans.
